MADAM, – These pictures are of Sneyd Valiants, a football team formed in 1973 as a team of eleven-year-olds to enter the Ladsandads League at Trubshaw Cross.It had previously been the St Andrew's Church, Sneyd Green Cubs team and as they reached the maximum age for Cubs football we transferred to Ladsandads.It was virtually the same squad of boys, with one or two additions.They played throughout the three age groups of Ladsandads, ending as 16-year-olds.The spirit and camaraderie of this...
